Delete your VAA account

In the app

1. Open VAA and go to the Profile tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Tap Delete my account to confirm.

It happens straight away, and you are signed out. It can’t be undone.

Without the app

Email vaakerala@gmail.com from the Google address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my VAA account”. We delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your name, email address, profile photo, phone number and gender.
• Your saved trips and your sign-in with Google.
• Your device’s notification token.
• Your upcoming booking requests are cancelled, and organizers see them as cancelled.

What stays

• Past bookings and callback requests stay with the organizer who ran the trip, without your name or phone number.
• Your reviews are hidden from the app.
• Our security log keeps its entries about you (your name, email address, phone number, booking notes and the IP addresses of earlier sign-ins and changes) to answer disputes and prevent abuse. Nothing in the app shows them, and the people who run VAA can see them.
